URHOGHIDE MOURNS IFALUYI ISIBOR

(Sir) Ifaluyi Isibor", he said: "The news of the death of Hon. Ifaluyi Isibor came as a mixed feeling of sadness for the sudden and sore loss and then gratitude to God nonetheless for the great and decent life that it pleased Him to let him live here on earth. "Me, my family, friends and supporters send our sincere condolences to his family members as they mourn this huge loss". URHOGHIDE FELICITATES PRESIDENT TINUBU ON SUPREME COURT VICTORY

Edo: Shaibu Visits Flooded Communities in Etsako Central

Hon.Philip Shaibu has visited communities ravaged by flood, in Etsako Central Local Government Area of the state, to ascertain the impact of the disaster  in the areas. In his remark, the number two citizen in the state said : "I came to see and assess the level of damage caused by the flood and report back to my boss, the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki. " As a government, we are also here to empathize with the flood victims. We have assessed the extent of damage caused by the flood and I will report to my elder brother, Mr. Governor for us to make appropriate arrangements to have relief materials provided to sustain them till the flood subsides". UNIBEN RELEASES RESULTS OF 2023/2024 PUTME, DIRECT ENTRY TESTS

The University of Benin,  has released the results of the 2023/2024 Post  Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination ( PUTME)  and Direct Entry Examinations recently held by the institution. According to a statement signed by the institution's Public Relations Officer, Dr. Benedicta Ehanire, 13,367 candidates were successful in the  PUTME, representing 94% of the total number of candidates who sat for the test. Urhoghide Speaks On 2024 Edo Governorship Election

A leading governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Senator Matthew Urhoghide has promised to abide by the decision of his party on the primary of the 2024 Edo State governorship election . Sen. Urhoghide who represented Edo South Senatorial District in the 8th and 9th Nigerian Senate also disclosed that he is not against the quest for an indegine of Edo Central Senatorial District to become the next governor of the state, if his party zones the ticket to the District, adding that he will contest, if the party decides to throw the contest open.
