URHOGHIDE FELICITATES PRESIDENT TINUBU ON SUPREME COURT VICTORY

The immediate past Chairman, Committee on Public Account of the Nigerian Senate, Senator( Pharm.) Matthew Urhoghide has felicitated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the recent Supreme Court's judgement affirming his victory at the 2023 Presidential election.

In a statement made available to journalists in Benin city, the award winning Senator who represented Edo South Senatorial District in the 8th and 9th Senate declared that the judgement has finally put to rest, the question of who should preside over the country in the next four years.

The full statement made by the potential candidate in the Edo state 2024 gubernatorial election states:

"Your Excellency, I join you, your family members, supporters and indeed Nigerians to rejoice with you on this victory which heralds the clear focus now to put your plans for the general good of the country in full gear.

"We will support your government with all our might and to the extent that our best abilities permit. We also have no doubt that you mean well  for the country and that, though your great plans for Nigeria may not be too clear for some of our people to grasp at the moment, these policies shall distill into the fine essence that will be greeted with gratitude and appreciation going forward. We believe that
your service on behalf of our country and for which you have adequately prepared these past few decades shall stand us in good stead eventually.

"Congratulations once again your Excellency".

Hon.(Amb.)Elliot Inneh Begins Grading Of Earth Roads In Ward 9, Egor LG

(Amb.)Elliot Inneh, the Councillor representing Ward 09 in Egor Local Government Area's legislative chamber has begun the grading of earth roads in his ward.  So far, grading of Obaruyi Street, Upper Medical Street, Oghobaghase Street (Okhoro Primary School road), Ehigie Street and Osasenaga Street ( Enoma factory road) have been completed. According to the energetic Councillor, more roads in the ward will be sand filled and graded. Some excited residents of the benefitting areas came out to salute the youthful Councillor for his good job. Hon.(Amb.) Inneh has vowed to do his best for the residents of his ward, to justify the mandate given to him during the election. The articulate and vibrant Councillor was in the team of the Egor Local Government Area Chairman that cleaned up the storm drain on Uselu- Lagos road some months ago.
