JAGBE, A TOWN CONTINUOUSLY NEGLECTED BY EDO STATE GOVERNMENTS
By Besiru Enakhimion. Since when I was young till now that I am above 60 years, I have not seen Jagbe town benefit from any of the administrations in Edo state. Even the SHINE AGENDA of Gov. Monday Okpebholo has not shone on Jagbe . Jagbe is a highly populated town in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State. The people of Jagbe are predominantly farmers. They carry out their civic responsibilities in all ramifications. They have always voted in past elections and are already waiting to take part in the 2027 general elections. Sadly, Jagbe is the only town in Etsako West Local Government Area that has no good accessible road(s). The only earth roads that link the town through Ewu in Esan Central Local Government Area and Agbede in Etsako West Local Government Area are like death traps.
