UNIBEN RELEASES RESULTS OF 2023/2024 PUTME, DIRECT ENTRY TESTS

The University of Benin,  has released the results of the 2023/2024 Post  Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination ( PUTME)  and Direct Entry Examinations recently held by the institution.

According to a statement signed by the institution's Public Relations Officer, Dr. Benedicta Ehanire, 13,367 candidates were successful in the  PUTME, representing 94% of the total number of candidates who sat for the test.

The statement added that 225 candidates were successful in the Post Direct Entry Examination, out of 678 .
  
Candidates who took part in the examinations have been directed to access their results through their respective UNIBEN kofa page by following the process below:

• Log back to your Post UTME/Post DE profile 

• Click on login at the top right corner

• Enter username and password used during application

• Scroll to the bottom of the page

• The Post UTME/DE Result is just below your JAMB result.

The newly-inaugurated Dr. Omo-Ehijele Frank Odafen- led-Governing Council for Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Monday held its inaugural meeting as part of its commencement of work to reposition the University. The University's Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Council who arrived at the campus in Ekpoma on Monday with other members of the Council immediately commenced a fact-finding and assessment tour of structures and facilities in the University. A professor of Mathematics at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Prof Goddy Ujagbe Agbeboh has advocated the study and use of Mathematics as a tool for National growth, development, and combatting the various security challenges facing the Nation.  Prof Goddy Ujagbe Agbeboh while addressing the 109th inaugural lecture of the University with the title "Demystifying Mathematics" in Ekpoma said mathematics, both in the teaching and study, has been variously perceived as a "not to be attempted missionary journey" whereas it is one of the easiest of all the sciences that are key to the development and growth of any nation.  Prof  Agbeboh said developed nations have taken advantage of their mathematical knowledge to advance in their technologies and national growth without asking for any 'transfer of technology' as being canversed by African nations, most especially Nigeria.
