Shaibu Woos Edo South PDP Women Leaders

Edo State Deputy Governor and front-line PDP governorship aspirant in the Edo State 2024 gubernatorial election, Rt. Hon. Comrade Phillip Shaibu, Thursday held a consultative meeting with the PDP women leaders in the Seven Local Government Areas,  in Edo South Senatorial  District. 

The strategic meeting, held in Benin City, the Edo State capital, at the instance of the PDP woman leader, Edo South Senatorial District, Rev. Pat West-Irabor, was also attended by the wife of the Deputy Governor, Comrade Mrs. Maryann Philip-Shaibu.

In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Comrade Shaibu, assured that women will be accorded due recognition in the scheme of things, if elected  Governor. 

He promised to carry the women along in his government, while having access to  work with a First Lady that can listen to their yearnings and aspirations.
 
In her speech, the PDP woman leader, Edo South Senatorial District, Rev. Mrs.West-Irabor, appealed to the Deputy Governor to give due consideration to women in his cabinet, if elected Governor.

In the entourage of Comrade Mrs. Philip-Shaibu were some members of the 'Women on the Move'.
