Edo 2024 : One Of The Promises Of Philip Shaibu To Edo Civil And Public Servants

One of the main reasons the people of Edo State desire and deserve Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu as their governor  is that he is used to them and he knows the areas in the state that need government's attention. 

On the 20th of December, 2023, the Deputy Governor had the 2023 edition of his annual breakfast meeting with Edo State journalists in his compound.

In his remark, he lamented the housing problem of the Civil and Public servants and promised to solve it for them if elected as governor of the state. 

" I discover that majority of our Civil servants and Public servants, when retirement is coming close, you see some of them start having high blood pressure ; some of them become moody and it is like the whole world is coming to an end . When you find out from some of them, some of them will tell you if I retire now, how will I be paying rent ? Number one of their priority is always rent, rent because some of them have not been able to build a shelter for themselves .  They are going into retirement and they are not sure of what is going to happen next. For me, I think that aspect has to be taken care of." He said passionately.

Edo Civil and Public Servants will be part of those who will be favoured if Philip Shaibu becomes the State Governor .

Hon.(Amb.)Elliot Inneh Begins Grading Of Earth Roads In Ward 9, Egor LG

(Amb.)Elliot Inneh, the Councillor representing Ward 09 in Egor Local Government Area's legislative chamber has begun the grading of earth roads in his ward.  So far, grading of Obaruyi Street, Upper Medical Street, Oghobaghase Street (Okhoro Primary School road), Ehigie Street and Osasenaga Street ( Enoma factory road) have been completed. According to the energetic Councillor, more roads in the ward will be sand filled and graded. Some excited residents of the benefitting areas came out to salute the youthful Councillor for his good job. Hon.(Amb.) Inneh has vowed to do his best for the residents of his ward, to justify the mandate given to him during the election. The articulate and vibrant Councillor was in the team of the Egor Local Government Area Chairman that cleaned up the storm drain on Uselu- Lagos road some months ago.
