Shaibu Visits Leadership Of Edo House of Assembly, receives rousing welcome from staff

Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, Tuesday received a rousing welcome from staff of the State House of Assembly when he paid an unscheduled private visit to the Speaker and leadership of the parliament.

It was like a home coming for the number two citizen of Edo State, who was a former member of the House and  two-term Majority Leader.

As soon as the Deputy Governor made attempt  to leave the complex, staff of the Assembly trooped out in their numbers, chanting "100 percent homeboy, our next Governor", in apparent solidarity with his political aspiration. It could also be seen as a mark of honour for Rt. Hon. Comrade Shaibu whom they see as one of their own. 

The Deputy Governor in his usual tradition, exchanged pleasantries and extended warm handshake with virtually everybody before departing the premises.

Hon.(Amb.)Elliot Inneh Begins Grading Of Earth Roads In Ward 9, Egor LG

(Amb.)Elliot Inneh, the Councillor representing Ward 09 in Egor Local Government Area's legislative chamber has begun the grading of earth roads in his ward.  So far, grading of Obaruyi Street, Upper Medical Street, Oghobaghase Street (Okhoro Primary School road), Ehigie Street and Osasenaga Street ( Enoma factory road) have been completed. According to the energetic Councillor, more roads in the ward will be sand filled and graded. Some excited residents of the benefitting areas came out to salute the youthful Councillor for his good job. Hon.(Amb.) Inneh has vowed to do his best for the residents of his ward, to justify the mandate given to him during the election. The articulate and vibrant Councillor was in the team of the Egor Local Government Area Chairman that cleaned up the storm drain on Uselu- Lagos road some months ago.
