Shaibu Withdraws Suit Against Obaseki

The feud between Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state and his deputy, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu may be over soon. This is because in a circular dated September 5, 2023, Rt. Hon. Shaibu stated that he has directed his Solicitors to withdraw his suit against the Governor from the High court . 

The deputy governor in the circular also stated the reasons for his action. 

 The Edo state number 2 citizen had some weeks ago filed a suit at the High court seeking to stop the alleged plot by his boss to impeach him from office.

In the Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1027/2023 before the Federal High Court, the Inspector General of Police, State Security Service, the Governor of Edo State, and the Chief Judge of Edo State were listed as defendants.

Hon.(Amb.)Elliot Inneh Begins Grading Of Earth Roads In Ward 9, Egor LG

(Amb.)Elliot Inneh, the Councillor representing Ward 09 in Egor Local Government Area's legislative chamber has begun the grading of earth roads in his ward.  So far, grading of Obaruyi Street, Upper Medical Street, Oghobaghase Street (Okhoro Primary School road), Ehigie Street and Osasenaga Street ( Enoma factory road) have been completed. According to the energetic Councillor, more roads in the ward will be sand filled and graded. Some excited residents of the benefitting areas came out to salute the youthful Councillor for his good job. Hon.(Amb.) Inneh has vowed to do his best for the residents of his ward, to justify the mandate given to him during the election. The articulate and vibrant Councillor was in the team of the Egor Local Government Area Chairman that cleaned up the storm drain on Uselu- Lagos road some months ago.
