AS URHOGHIDE JOINS GUBER RACE, LIGHT COMETH

One does not necessarily need to be a Prophet to foretell the future . Sometimes, from the present, one can tell what becomes the future.

For instance, since Senator ( Pharm.) Matthew Urhoghide declared his intension to contest in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo state in 2024, there have been signs that light is coming to the heartbeat state . His  achievements in his eight years in the senate will attest to that .

Light is the opposite of darkness . Poverty in a state is darkness; lack of good roads in a state is darkness; insecurity in a state is darkness; lack of industries in a state is darkness; lack of affordable health facilities in a state is darkness; lack of good schools and teachers in a state is darkness; lack of good water in a state is darkness ; youth restiveness in a state is darkness and lack of employment in a state is darkness too. These are what the residents of Edo state have been suffering from.

There is a popular Yoruba song that says, "IMOLE DE OO, OKUNKUN PARADA, IMOLE DE OOO OKUNKUN PARADA". It means light has come, therefore, darkness will disappear .

Distinguished Senator Matthew Urhoghide is LIGHT . Sen. Urhoghide as governor of Edo state will replace darkness with light .  

If a Yoruba man is to produce a song in the name of this humble and dependable politician, he will go this way, 
" Sen. Matthew Urhoghide, de ooo, OKUNKUN PARADA, Sen. Urhoghide de ooo, OKUNKUN PARADA .

The newly-inaugurated Dr. Omo-Ehijele Frank Odafen- led-Governing Council for Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Monday held its inaugural meeting as part of its commencement of work to reposition the University. The University's Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Council who arrived at the campus in Ekpoma on Monday with other members of the Council immediately commenced a fact-finding and assessment tour of structures and facilities in the University.
