EDO APC KICKS AGAINST APPOINTMENT OF ITULAH By Besiru Enakhimion.

Members of All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo state , have kicked against the appointment of Hon. Friday Itulah as S.A on political matters (South -South), to the speaker of the House of Representatives , Hon. Tajudeen Abass . 

A protest letter addressed to the speaker    and signed by the Chairman of the party in the state , Col.(Dr.) David Imuse (rtd) stated that the appointment has demoralized and devastated members of the party in Edo Central Senatorial Zone and the entire state .

The letter expressed disappointment over the appointment of Hon. Itulah who is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Edo Central Zone, an opposition  party , in place of members of the APC .

The letter further declared that the action of Hon. Abass is against APC's principles and cast questions on his commitment to the party's shared values .

" Allow me to highlight the demoralizing and devastating effects of this appointment on members of the APC . First and foremost , it sends a message to members that their loyalty and hard work may not be rewarded . Many individuals within our party have fought tooth and nail against the opposition party, dedicating their time and resources to ensure the success of the APC . By appointing a member of the PDP whose interests directly contradict our own , this action signifies  that our party 's efforts are not appreciated or valued ", the letter partly stated .

The letter further stated that Hon. Itulah's appointment undermined the spirit of unity and loyalty within the party and provided the opposition party with a platform to create disunity and discord among members of APC .

The action of the speaker, the letter maintained,  reflected poorly on the image and integrity of the party , adding that the opposition party and the general public interprete it as a sign of weakness and wavering commitment on the part of the APC leadership .

"In light of the outlined concerns, I humbly request your immediate attention to this matter . As the Hon. Speaker, I implore you sir , to address this issue promptly and communicate our party's stance . It is crucial that we foster a sense of loyalty and unity among our members, ensuring that their dedication and hard work are duly recognized and rewarded .

"I trust in your commitment to our party's principles and in your ability to rectify this situation swiftly . Your decisive action will not only prevent further damage to our party's image but will also restore the faith and morale of our members .

"Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter . I eagerly await your response and hope for a swift reversal of this appointment ". The letter concluded .

Hon.(Amb.)Elliot Inneh Begins Grading Of Earth Roads In Ward 9, Egor LG

(Amb.)Elliot Inneh, the Councillor representing Ward 09 in Egor Local Government Area's legislative chamber has begun the grading of earth roads in his ward.  So far, grading of Obaruyi Street, Upper Medical Street, Oghobaghase Street (Okhoro Primary School road), Ehigie Street and Osasenaga Street ( Enoma factory road) have been completed. According to the energetic Councillor, more roads in the ward will be sand filled and graded. Some excited residents of the benefitting areas came out to salute the youthful Councillor for his good job. Hon.(Amb.) Inneh has vowed to do his best for the residents of his ward, to justify the mandate given to him during the election. The articulate and vibrant Councillor was in the team of the Egor Local Government Area Chairman that cleaned up the storm drain on Uselu- Lagos road some months ago.
