Akpabio names Principal Officers in the Senate

President of the Nigerian 10th Senate, Sen. Godswill Akpabio has announced the names of Principal Officers in the red chamber .

Sen. Opeyemi Bamidele, APC, Ekiti Central was announced as the Senate Majority Leader, while Sen. Ali Ndume, APC, Borno South became the Chief Whip of the Senate.

Sen. David Umahi , APC, Ebonyi South was announced as Deputy Senate Leader while Sen. Oyelola Ashiru , APC, Kwara South was listed as Deputy Chief Whip .

Also on the list are Senators Simon Mwadkwon, PDP, Plateau North and Darlington Nwokocha , LP, Abia Central who were announced as Senate Minority Leader and Minority Whip respectively .

The one time Governor of Akwa Ibom state also announced Sen. Oyewumi Olalere , PDP, Osun West as the Deputy Minority leader while Sen. Rufai Hanga, NNPP, Kano Central was listed as the Deputy Minority Whip .

Hon.(Amb.)Elliot Inneh Begins Grading Of Earth Roads In Ward 9, Egor LG

(Amb.)Elliot Inneh, the Councillor representing Ward 09 in Egor Local Government Area's legislative chamber has begun the grading of earth roads in his ward.  So far, grading of Obaruyi Street, Upper Medical Street, Oghobaghase Street (Okhoro Primary School road), Ehigie Street and Osasenaga Street ( Enoma factory road) have been completed. According to the energetic Councillor, more roads in the ward will be sand filled and graded. Some excited residents of the benefitting areas came out to salute the youthful Councillor for his good job. Hon.(Amb.) Inneh has vowed to do his best for the residents of his ward, to justify the mandate given to him during the election. The articulate and vibrant Councillor was in the team of the Egor Local Government Area Chairman that cleaned up the storm drain on Uselu- Lagos road some months ago.
