Garba Muhammad: An Advocate For Credible Leadership

The bane of development in African countries has been traced to lack of credible leadership by some writers. This disease has also been traced to the backwardness of most labour Unions  in Nigeria.

Therefore, for any organization to move forward and achieve the aim for which it was created, such body needs credible leadership .

Some of the ingredients of credible leadership are : inclusivity, transparency, accountability, accessibility and selflessness. Men who offer credible leadership are scarce and are easily identified in the crowd.

 Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ) was set up for some objectives. To achieve such objectives, the body needs a credible leadership to take it to a greater height. The union yearns for a leadership that will make members to be happy and proud to belong to it. 

Who can provide that credible leadership ?  Of course, of all the aspirants to the seat of the National President, the crown fits comrade Garba Muhammad. His enviable antecedents and attractive  track records speak for him. All the aforementioned ingredients of credible leadership are what he has been known for. He has been an advocate of credible leadership since joining the union. 

As members of  NUJ meet at the delegates conference coming up in Owerri, Imo state, in November 2024, the most honorable thing they ( the delegates) should do for the union will be to elect a National President who can offer credible leadership for the union. 

That candidate is Comrade Garba Muhammad, the advocate for credible leadership.

Hon.(Amb.)Elliot Inneh Begins Grading Of Earth Roads In Ward 9, Egor LG

(Amb.)Elliot Inneh, the Councillor representing Ward 09 in Egor Local Government Area's legislative chamber has begun the grading of earth roads in his ward.  So far, grading of Obaruyi Street, Upper Medical Street, Oghobaghase Street (Okhoro Primary School road), Ehigie Street and Osasenaga Street ( Enoma factory road) have been completed. According to the energetic Councillor, more roads in the ward will be sand filled and graded. Some excited residents of the benefitting areas came out to salute the youthful Councillor for his good job. Hon.(Amb.) Inneh has vowed to do his best for the residents of his ward, to justify the mandate given to him during the election. The articulate and vibrant Councillor was in the team of the Egor Local Government Area Chairman that cleaned up the storm drain on Uselu- Lagos road some months ago.
