This disease has also been traced to the backwardness of most labour Unions in Nigeria. Therefore, for any organization to move forward and achieve the aim for which it was created, such body needs credible leadership . Some of the ingredients of credible leadership are : inclusivity, transparency, accountability, accessibility and selflessness. Men who offer credible leadership are scarce and are easily identified in the crowd. Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ) was set up for some objectives. To achieve such objectives, the body needs a credible leadership to take it to a greater height. The union yearns for a leadership that will make members to be happy and proud to belong to it.
