" This is what is called Foreign Direct Investment. I encourage our people overseas to come back home to invest, create jobs and provide job opportunities for the people.

"I can assure you that the money used in building the mall came from outside the shores of the country."

The above statement was made by a one time Governor of Edo State, Chief Lucky Igbinedion, at the commissioning ceremony of the Ultra Modern Lifestyle Value Mall in Benin City, Edo State.

The ex- governor commended the investor for siting the business in Benin City . He called for more Foreign Direct Investments ( FDI) to boost the economy and the development of the state.

Chief Igbinedion boasted that he laid the foundation that had attracted estates, several businesses and mansions to the Irhirhi/Iyekogba community when he was the governor of the state between 1999 and 2007.

In his remark, the Proprietor of the Mall, Chief Kenneth Ayere said the establishment of the mall is a means of reducing unemployment among the people.  He noted that the development he had brought to Edo people is, ' work in progress' as he intends to contribute more to the development of the state .

Speaking on the mall and its feature, Chief Ayere said he had modeled the mall on a conventional market, where virtually all types of items will be made available for purchase in the Irhirhi community and its environs.

" Our idea is to create a market. A market, like we all know; your Oba market, your Oliha market, your Eki-Osa where you normally will go and buy . That is exactly what we want to do. Things that you use in the house, your home items, your food. Especially food items and all that. Just imagine an Eki-Oliha, imagine an Eki Uselu." He concluded.

He also made an appeal to the guests and residents in the neighborhood this way :

" You should support us by making here your market . Take it as your place and make it your market".

The Lifestyle Value Mall has the Hombaze restaurant, which is an extension and a replica of the popular Hombaze restaurant in South Africa, a Bakery, Laundry, Butchery, Sweet shop, Beauty salon, Pharmacy, Wine shop, Food market, Business center, Home items shop, Mother and child shop and Children entertainment center.

One of the unique things about the Lifestyle Mall is the availability of fresh and raw food items commonly found in the conventional markets. In the mall are fresh tomatoes, fresh Okra, Onions, assorted  Smoked Fish , Crayfish, Fresh and Dried pepper, Salt, assorted Fresh Vegetables, Yams, Coconuts, Coco yams, Melons, 'Ogbono' seeds, Fresh Garden eggs, Red oil, Groundnut oil, Garri, fresh Plantains, Banana and other food items.

The prices of the aforementioned food items in the mall are the same as the prices in the conventional markets . Some food items are even cheaper in the mall than the ones outside. The organization offers outdoor services too.

Lifestyle Value Mall is located at
