Aftermath of cult war : Police recover beheaded body in Edo. By Besiru Enakhimion

Operatives of Edo State Police Command have recovered a beheaded body of a 40 year old man at Uselu area of Benin City . The head of the man identified as Taiwo Edigie  was found at a location different from where his body was . According to a press release signed by the Deputy Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, ASP Jennifer U. Iwegbu, the man was killed in the inter cult fight that recently reared its ugly head in some parts of Benin City. Another unidentified young man was also said to have lost his life at Ugbowo area of the City, due to the cult clash . The Police statement also revealed that an intensive raid by the Command's operatives has led to the arrest of 30 suspected cultists. Part of the press release states that, "Profiling is still ongoing and any one found culpable or related to any of the cult rivalry killings would be arraigned in court as soon as profiling is concluded ". Edo : Police discover 20 corpses in a house, nab 3 suspects By Besiru Enakhimion.

Operatives of Edo State Police Command  have discovered 20 mummified corpses in a house along Asoro slope, off Ekenhua road, Uzebu quarters, Benin city . The corpses are made up of Fifteen males, Three females and Two children. According to a press release signed by the Command's Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Jennifer U. Iwegbu, the discovery was said to have been made by the police operatives while acting on a tip - off. The release also stated that Messrs Chimaobi Okoewu and Oko Samuel who hail from Afikpo in Ebonyi State as well as Gideon Sunday, an indigen of Akwa - Ibom state have been arrested in connection with the case while the police operatives are on the trail of the other fleeing suspects for arrest. I  assess people in different ways and place value on them for different reasons.  For instance, one of the reasons I doff my hat for the Adolor of Uromi Kingdom, Chief Mike Oziengbe Onolememen is his attitude of talking less but working more.  Unlike some politicians who forget to project their manifesto to their audience but concentrate their fragile energy to criticize their perceived political enemies, Dr. Onolememen  is focused on what he can do to remedy the numerous problems suffered by his kinsmen ,(his beloved  people of Esan land) in whom he is well pleased.  He does not believe in mudslinging. As it is right now, he has no enemy of any kind. He has no political enemies. Even the Senatorial Candidates of other political parties are not his enemies.
