Prof Ethel Ekeloseya Idialu of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma has opined that promoting the growth and development of ideal families in Nigeria and other developing countries, most especially in Africa, will enhance curbing the wave of crime and unwholesome conduct of citizens which is currently ravaging nations thereby constituting undue threats to peaceful coexistence in the society.  Mrs Idialu, a Professor of Home Economics Education, while delivering the 106th Inaugural lecture of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma entitled  "Ideal Family Living: A Panacea For Societal ills", underscored the significance of a well-ordered home, noting that “disorder in the society stems from disorder in the family". PDP Sets Up Edo State Ward Caretaker Committees

By Editor. The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has set up Caretaker Committees in Edo State.  This is sequel to the expiration of the tenure of the current Ward Committees. National Publicity Secretary of the party, Debo Ologunagba in a press statement explained that the Ward Caretaker Committees have been given 30 days only to enable them perform their duties and to avoid creating any vacuum.
